CANCER DOESN’T STOP FOR COVID-19

THE YOUNG SURVIVAL COALITION NEEDS YOUR HELP

The novel coronavirus has had a crippling effect on the nonprofit community. Nonprofits are small businesses, and, without support from the community and public in the form of donations, we will not be able to continue our work. The Young Survival Coalition:

  • Educates and empowers young adults affected by breast cancer from diagnosis and treatment to long-term survivorship;

  • Provides local in-person networking groups, digital meetups and communities, and one-on-one support with trained peer mentors;

  • Works with healthcare providers, researchers and legislators to educate them about the unique issues young cancer patients face, and

  • Advocates for more studies on breast cancer in young adults, diverse representation in research and access to quality care.

13,000 adults under age 40 are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. With your help, this vital organization can keep its doors open to them. Visit wpoc.com/softball and donate today.
